Global technology companies are continuing to increase investments in renewable energy and battery storage. Recently, Amazon announced agreements for multiple renewable energy projects in Australia, including solar, wind, and battery storage systems.

The new projects will significantly expand Amazon’s renewable energy capacity in the region, increasing it from around 430 MW to nearly 1 GW. These projects are designed to support data center operations while also contributing to grid stability through the integration of battery storage technologies.
